About TalkTop
TalkTop is a record of what technology leaders say in public. Not commentary on the news, not a news feed: the sentences themselves, with the source attached.
Why this exists
A quote is usually the most valuable part of a tech story, and the hardest to find later. It arrives inside a 1,500-word article, gets reworded by aggregators, and within a week the wording is wrong everywhere. TalkTop pulls the sentence out, keeps it verbatim, and links back to the article it came from so anyone can check it.
How to use it
- Follow one person. Every leader has a page with a dated timeline. Useful when you need to know whether a position changed.
- Follow one question. Topic pages collect what many people said about the same thing — compute costs, export controls, agents, autonomy.
- Search a phrase. The search box matches names, companies and wording.
What we are not
We do not interview anyone, we do not endorse any claim, and we do not publish anonymous sourcing of our own. If a quote is wrong, we correct or remove it — see Methodology.
