What we collect

TalkTop is a static site. We do not ask you to register, and we do not store personal data on our own servers beyond standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL), which are kept for security and rotated automatically.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. It sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and records page views, approximate location derived from IP, device type and referrer. IP addresses are not stored by us.

Advertising

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data at Google's partner-sites notice. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent prompt before any non-essential cookie is set.

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar regimes you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. In practice this is limited to server logs, which are short-lived. Write to [email protected].

Third parties

Outbound links go to the publications we cite. Once you follow one, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We do not sell data and we do not run affiliate tracking on quote pages.
